What we keep

You don't need an account to play. Without one, your shop lives only in your browser, and we never see it. Signing in is for carrying the same shop between your phone and your computer.

If you sign in, we keep

We never keep

What we count

A few totals for each day, for everyone together: how many people started a game or played a day, reached a new tier, finished a year or a scenario, bought the Sunoco, signed in, synced a save or posted a run. A count is the day, what happened, and how many times. There's no ID, no cookie and nothing in it that says who you are or which device it was, so none of it can be tied to you.

If you report a problem

A problem report keeps what you wrote, the page you were on, the game's version and your browser's name, and, only if you choose to send it, your save, so we can play it and see what you saw. If you're signed in, it's kept with your account; if not, nothing in it says who you are. We delete a report once it's dealt with, and deleting your account deletes the ones you sent while signed in.

If the game crashes

When the game hits an error it didn't expect, it tells us: the error, the page you were on, the game's version and your browser's name, so we can fix it. Whether or not you've signed in, the report has nothing in it that says who you are. It stays a few days in Cloudflare's logs, which also note the internet address it came from, and then it's gone.

Deleting it

Your account (top right on the title screen, or first in the game's menu) → Delete account removes your email, your saves, your backups, your leaderboard runs and any problem reports you sent while signed in, all at once, from every device, and we email you to say it's done. The copy in your browser stays until you start over.

Where it lives

On Cloudflare, which runs the site: its database holds the saves, and its email service sends the codes.
